Called into the 5 fold ministry (Ephesians 4:11-12) in 2011. Invited into the ministry training program iLead, through my church, in 2013. I heard the voice of the Lord call me into "personal" ministry in November 2014. He brought me to Revelations 2:4 saying "return to your FIRST love". It was then that First Love Ministries with Shakema Wilson was birthed.
I began bible college at Christ College RDU as an online student in 2017 and awarded a certificate of Theology in 2019.
In December 2019 I was licensed a minister through St. Michael's Hope Ministry in South Carolina. In January 2020, prior to the pandemic, I was ordained a pastor in my home church, Oasis Wilmington Church.

I don't mean "split" the group like that I mean we will be reducing the size of the group. OOPS. I know that didn't sound right either. lol
Here is the skinny. The larger Titus 2 Women's Group will be split into 3 groups at the same time so we can offer more personalized attention to a smaller group of ladies.
We would love for you to join us. Each lady will join the "main" meeting then we will head into "breakout" meeting rooms. One being led by myself and the other two being led by our amazing "new" leaders. You can meet the ladies below.

Birthed in my spirit in March 2020, just as we were entering the pandemic lockdown, the Lord has truly blessed this group of women. This sisterhood was birthed from Titus 2:3-5, one of my FAVORITE verses.
Titus 2:3-5 (NASB2020)
Older women likewise are to be reverent in their behavior, not malicious gossips nor enslaved to much wine, teaching what is good, so that they may encourage the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, to be sensible, pure, workers at home, kind, being subject to their own husbands so that the word of God will not be dishonored.
[My "calling/wheelhouse" is to "teach" women how to be GOOD WOMEN, GOOD WIVES AND GOOD MOTHERS in order to restore the family that God created and is so vital to our communities.]
God spoke very specifically to me saying "do NOT invite any people you know; friends or family but reach out to women in your YouTube community". Knowing God like I do that is exactly what I did and the response was overwhelming. In a matter of an email the Lord took First Love Ministries with Shakema Wilson international. Women from all over the world jumped in to join us as we study the Bible that makes us better, books that sharpen our character and I could not be any more thankful. Will you join us?
There are a million groups all over the world BUT NONE like ours. Here is what we NOT GONE DO...
We Pass NO Judgement. (We will give godly counsel)
We DO NOT gossip. (We are too grown for this type of behavior. There is a standard that we keep on the regular and gossip isn't a part of that.)
We lift each other up; not tear each other down. (We make room for everyone to grow in the areas God has called them to grow in.)
We put God FIRST in everything we do.
We strive to only do things that are pleasing to the Lord. (We aren't perfect but we strive to LIVE right before God and man.)
We practice "hearing" the voice of the Lord while we "seek" His face so that our desires align with His.
We honor one another (what is said in the group STAYS in the group.)
Join ladies from all over the world for a weekend of fun, fellowship, worship and the word. 2023 Girlfriend's Getaway was held in New Jersey. 2024 Girlfriend's Getaway was held in Washington, D.C. In 2025 the ladies will converge on Houston, Texas to share space and grow together as sisters in Christ.
Grab your favorite beverage of choice and let's "girlfriend". Coffee and Conversation was birthed out of a lonely place. The Lord spoke to me telling me to create a safe space for women who were experiencing the same things as I was.
Little did I know that this group would be one of the most important groups I would ever facilitate.
These ladies are more than random women from all over the world on a virtual meeting. These women ARE MY FRIENDS. We talk about any and everything. We laugh. We cry. We sing. We listen to music. We help each other with questions and provide resources that we might not be able to find on our own.

No one can do it all alone. This work of the Lord is meant to be shared. To that end the Lord has sent colaborers to help me in the work He has given me to do. Starting October 5 we will begin 2 studies simultaneously. In order to facilitate that we have 2 Team Leaders joining me.
