I Know You Already Know This...

There is NO need to try to figure it all out. God is fully, capable and WILL lead you into His perfect and most excellent will.

The Bible tells us in Psalm 37:23 (NKJV)

The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, and He delights in his ways.

When The Lord first told me to start social media I was clueless. I mean I really wish I could tell my story so that you could visualize in your mind's eye just what I am saying. I didn't even know Youtube existed. I had never heard of such before the Lord spoke to me about it. Now wanting to be obedient to the Lord I did exactly what He told me. The only problem I had was He didn't give me any real, clear directions so it looked quite different depending on which platform I was posting on and the day of the week. Follow me.

If I were filming a Youtube video and I wanted to "slow" down the clip I thought I was supposed to film it "slow". I mean I thought I was supposed to "move" the camera slowly around the space. I had zero idea or clue that there was a "speed" button in the editing software that slowed down or sped up the video. Goodness I was so green. I wanted to be so obedient to the Lord that I started a Youtube channel, a blog on Facebook and also had to maintain my personal Facebook page. Doing my own thing, thinking that I was being obedient I ever started an Instagram. But can I tell you something? While doing all of that it didn't produce much in the beginning. In fact it would be years before I would begin to see significant following. Why is that if The Lord told me to do it all?

While He did tell me to do those things I NEVER asked Him "how" to do them. There are so many layers to each platform and I didn't have any knowledge of any of them. See I can do all the things but that doesn't mean I do all the things well. When I realized I was "messing" over the assignment He gave me I began to ask Him, through prayer, just how He wanted me to proceed. It was then and ONLY then that the plan He already had for me began to unfold.

Once I Submitted...

Once I submitted to The Lord and made it clear that I didn't know what I was doing He began to show me exactly what to do. Some may not believe that the Lord talks to me but I am here to tell you any success you might see in me or that represents me came STRAIGHT from the lips of The Lord.

Psalm 37:23 ASV says [a man's going are established of Jehovah; And he delighteth in his way.]

Whatever I was going to do, how I was going to do it, when I was going to do it and for what purpose had already been established by Him. Serving Him for as long as I have proved to me that He could be trusted always and with whatever I had in my hands.

What Does That Have To Do With Anything?

In short this, if God can do it for me He can do it for you. How do I know? I no longer film videos in slow motion. The blog that I initially began, while not still active, drew many many women to follow the journey God has me on. I was able to put Instagram on hold for 6 years and pick it back up in 2023 when I heard "It's Time Now". Each and every social platform I have is now "productive", not just for myself but to the glory of God. Every platform turns the hearts of women towards The Lord for the His direction for their lives. Here is what I can tell you for sure:

• God WILL lead you exactly where He wants you to go.

• God WILL give you clear instructions that can be trusted.

• God WILL delight in you, in fact, already does. You are His beloved.
